Assists with the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for professional employees.

Monitors and reviews data-driven human resources organization processes and workflow and updates/adjusts as needed.

Facilitates designated teams to effectively drive strategic goals and objectives forward.

Responds to critical personnel matters in a timely manner and provides principals, supervisors, and district administrators with the appropriate resources, procedures, and correspondence.

Collects evidence and information on employee matters; relays confidential information from principals, district level administrators, legal counsel and employees.

Crafts formal letters regarding employee conduct, performance, evaluation or dismissal, and/or other personnel matters.

Facilitates personnel conferences with employees, principals, and/or supervisors regarding job performance or related matters.

Supports additional departmental functions such as evaluation, leadership development, and substitute programs.

Assists in coordinating the annual New Employee Orientation, Teacher Recruitment Fair, and Induction Teacher Institute.

Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations (ex: Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Teacher Dismissal Act, etc.) affecting human resource management. Identifies trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational resources. Interprets appropriate laws and policies and advises management, employees and retirees accordingly.

Reviews relevant board policies and suggest updates as necessary.

Effectively uses personal technology devices and software applications for the management of pertinent information and communication.

Represents the district at necessary hearings or formal meetings (i.e. unemployment, State Department disciplinary hearings, etc.)

Performs other related duties as required.
