We are seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to become principals in Charleston County School District beginning July 2025. Principals will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the academic success and holistic development of students. You will lead a team of educators and staff members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes excellence in teaching, learning, and student support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and strong leadership skills.
In this pool position, you may be assigned to serve as a principal at elementary, middle, or high school levels, depending on the needs of the district and your expertise. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and community stakeholders to create a positive and engaging learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing resources, implementing curriculum initiatives, and ensuring compliance with district policies and regulations.
Candidates for this position should possess a relevant educational background and leadership experience in an educational setting. Masters in Administration or related area
Minimum of three years teaching experience
Two years experience as an Assistant Principal, or an equivalent administrative position
SC Certification in appropriate school level administration
