Greenville County Schools will take applications for the 2026-2027 AA/AP Pool beginning December 1, 2025.  The application period will close on January 12, 2026.  Any person who has the required certification for Elementary or Secondary Principal or who will have the certification before the 2026-2027 school year is encouraged to apply to the Administrative Assistant/Assistant Principal Pool (AA/AP Pool).    Application is also required for currently serving GCS AAs or APs who want to transfer to another school or be promoted from AA to AP.  These Guidelines also apply to anyone in a  position equivalent to an AP, to include Assistant Dir
